Ultimidi gives you a complete set of expressive control surfaces. Each one is mappable, gesture-aware, and highly configurable on a technical and aesthetic level.

Buttons, dials, and faders

Complete gesture control for your favorite familiar devices.

Buttons, dials, and faders... the controls we're all used to. In Ultimidi however, every control has an extensive gesture binding system, allowing you to assign different controls to your swipe directions and taps independently, allowing for simplistic control over complex routing, unavailable in standard hardware controls.

Customization you didn't know you needed across familiar and all-new controls.

Ultimidi adds many new creative control devices never before seen in touch control software, and we are adding more and more regularly. Here are some highlighted favorites from our team.

Hand drawn LFO curves: Never step out of the zone to adjust an LFO again with our touch to draw LFO system. Draw your curve and get an immediate result.

Upgraded XY Pads: Ultimidi steps up the standard feature set with physics controls, independent boundary outputs, and specialty automation modes.

Circular pad: Similar to the XY pad, but with distance and angle measurement outputs rather than x and y coordinates. The circular pad has separate advanced physics as well, differing from the standard xy pad and making a splash in its own way.

Logic Gates

AND and NOT gates that trigger actions based on gesture combinations, timing, and device state.

AND gates fire their output actions only when two inputs are simultaneously active. NOT gates invert a signal, so an action fires when a condition is absent rather than present.

Gates can be chained together in any order and connected to gestures from any control on any page. This lets you build conditional behaviors: a play button that only works in a specific mode, a CC that flips direction based on another control's state, or complex multi-gesture interlocks.

Each logic gate is fully bindable to the same gesture action system available in the rest of the app. Ex: Hold this dial and swipe this button to switch that preset. Complex gestures made easy.

Bluetooth & Network Routing

Send MIDI to connected devices locally or broadcast to other devices over your network simultaneously.

Bluetooth MIDI lets you send to any connected Bluetooth MIDI enabled device.

Network routing features are coming soon this year! This feature set will let you send messages to any device over a local network, as well as connect temporary devices for one time use cases such as a recording studio client controlling their own mix, or an audience member getting to join your live show.
